This time I bring you an easy and cheap recipe: Delicious Crispy Cauliflower. You only need flour, water and spices! It's one of the ways I like to make cauliflower the most because it´s very easy, you need few ingredients and it is very cheap.

Crispy Cauliflower Recipe with few ingredients

I have realized that many times I don't know what to do with cauliflower, and there are many delicious ways to cook it. This week I had some cauliflower that I had to use, I thought I would fry it and serve it with rice and some sauce.

I mixed flour, spices and water, boiled the cauliflower for a few minutes to soften it a little and dredged it in the flour mixture. The result was cauliflower with a delicious flavor and a very economical meal. I served it with homemade mayonnaise and sriracha.

When cauliflower is boiled for a few minutes before frying, it will be soft inside. You need to fry it in very hot oil so that they are not greasy. The result is Cauliflower that is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

We ended up really enjoying the Crispy Cauliflower and I will definitely be making it a lot more often. You will see that even children enjoy it prepared this way.

To make a Cauliflower that is Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, you need few ingredients and to follow the steps that I share below:

Ingredients you need to make Crispy Cauliflower:

With these quantities you will make just enough dough to coat a medium cauliflower without having to throw anything away. You can add spices to your liking, below I share my favorites:

  • 1 medium cauliflower
  • 130 grams of flour
  • 250 milliliters water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cayenne pepper to taste
  • Parsley to garnish
  • Sunflower oil to fry

Instructions

Cut the cauliflower into florets and boil for 5 minutes in lightly salted water. Let it cool while you prepare the batter.

Mix the flour with all the spices and add the water. You can use warm water to mix better.

Cover the cauliflower with the mixture you just made and fry it for about 3-4 minutes on each side. Or until golden. When you remove them from the oil, put them on a piece of kitchen paper to eliminate oil access.

Decorate with parsley, accompany it with some sauce and enjoy, Bismillah!
