Some beautiful cookies ideal for special occasions

If you have a special occasion, guests, or a celebration, these cookies not only look very pretty. But they are delicious! A very simple and quick cookie dough to make, which will make everyone happy.

These are the cookies that I make for special celebrations such as Eid Al Fitr (also known as the holiday of breaking the fast) and Eid Al Adha (also known as the of sacrifice). Although I have to say that at home they love these simple Cookies Filled with Caramel, and from time to time I prepare them just because, because really every day is a party.

How to make these Cookies Filled with Caramel (or whatever you want)

I am sure that if you prepare them once, you will make them again and again, due to their simplicity and delicious flavor. Ideal to drink with coffee.

Ingredients you need to make the cookies

To make the cookies you need the following ingredients:

  • 250 grams of soft butter (or pastry margarine)
  • 100 grams of powdered sugar
  • 360 grams of flour
  • 45 grams of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder (or a few drops of vanilla flavoring)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • sesame (two tablespoons that you will put inside the dough and you will pass the cookies through the sesame before putting them in the mold)

Filling ideas:

  • Caramel/toffee
  • Lotus/Biscoff
  • Nutella
  • Jam

You can decorate them with pieces of edible gold.

Instructions for making Caramel Filled Cookies

It is as simple as mixing all the ingredients and kneading it until you have a dough with all the ingredients well incorporated.

Make balls of the dough (the size depends on the type of mold you have). Pass them through the sesame before putting them in the mold, press them lightly so that the sesame adheres well. Put them inside your mold and bake at 160 degrees for approximately 25 minutes. The baking time depends on the type of mold you use. You can know they are done when you see that they have turned golden in color.

Once taken out of the oven, leave them inside the mold until they have cooled down completely so that they do not break when you take them out.

Fill them with whatever you like the most!

You need some molds which leave a space to fill the cookies. These molds are made of silicone and you can get them in Arab stores.
