Meatballs with Olives in Cream and Cheese Sauce: a recipe for true cheese lovers

If you love recipes with cream and cheese, this recipe is made for you. It's made with minced beef meatballs, to which I have added chopped onion, parsley, and garlic powder. The sauce is prepared with cream, Philadelphia type cheese spread and olives. To give it an extra touch of cheese and deliciousness, you can put the Meatballs with Olives in Cream and Cheese Sauce in a baking dish, put a lot of cheese on top and put it under the grill for a few minutes.

Accompany this dish with bread to dip into the sauce and French fries. Serving it with, for example, rice is also a great option.

Ingredients you need to make this recipe for Meatballs with Olives in Cream and Cheese Sauce

To make this recipe you need few ingredients.

Ingredients you need to make the meatballs

  • Minced beef: you need 400 grams of minced beef
  • White onion: 1/4 white onion, minced
  • Parsley: some chopped fresh parsley
  • Garlic powder: a teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper: add salt and pepper to taste

Ingredients you need to make the sauce

  • Cooking cream: you need 200 milliliters of cream to cook
  • Cream cheese: you need 150 grams of Philadelphia-type spreadable white cheese
  • White onion: 3/4 of chopped white onion
  • Aceitunas: you need 150 grams of pitted green olives
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Butter: 20 grams of butter or margarine

How to make this delicious recipe

Mix the minced meat with 1/4 of chopped onion, the parsley, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste. Optionally, you can let it rest for about 30 minutes so that the meat takes on flavor. Make meatball-shaped balls of the size you prefer.

Boil the whole olives for about 10 minutes.

In a pot, add the olive oil and butter to brown the meatballs. Put the lid on while you brown the meatballs. When they are golden, take them out and add the chopped onion, soften it for about 3-4 minutes. Next, add the sliced olives and the meatballs, stir.

Immediately add the cream and cream cheese, mix well and leave it for about 15 minutes over medium heat.

Add mozzarella cheese on top (or cheese of your choice) and put it under the grill for about 5 minutes. Use a baking dish. If you don't have time to put it under the grill for a few minutes, add the cheese and it will melt with the heat of the sauce itself.

Enjoy it, Bismillah!
