If I have to choose one of the desserts that cannot be missing on your table, it's this Apple Crumble. A deliciously crunchy dessert on top and with a juicy inside. This dessert is so easy to make, that even the most novice person in the kitchen will have complete success making this delicious dessert.

Fill your home with a delicious smell by making this Apple Crumble

If I'm sure of one thing, it's that this dessert is the King of Desserts. Whenever I make this Apple Crumble, it disappears within a few minutes (you'll understand when you make it). Not only does it fill your kitchen with that delicious smell of roasted apple and cinnamon, but it fills your entire house.

This recipe is ideal during the fall and winter months. But I make this easy Apple Crumble recipe even during the hot summer months. The only thing, I let it cool a little before serving it.

What I like most about this Apple Crumble recipe is that it does not contain butter, which makes it suitable for people intolerant or allergic to dairy, or vegans. It also makes this recipe a little more economical, who doesn't want to save money?

I think I have given the matter too much thought… below I share my version of the well-known Apple Crumble dessert.

How to make Apple Crumble

This dessert is prepared in no time, and it's so easy to make! If you like this recipe, you'll probably love this Apple Crumble Cake. A cake with roasted apple, cinnamon and the crunchy topping so typical of this dessert.

  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder (or a few drops of vanilla flavoring)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For the filling

  • approximately 6 apples (I used golden, but use the apples you like the most)
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • splash of lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • a pinch (very small) nutmeg (optional)

Ideas

Serve the Apple Crumble with:

  • a scoop of vanilla ice cream
  • whipped cream
  • decorate the apple crumble once it has cooled down a little, with glaze (mixing powdered sugar with very little milk or water)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.

It's as simple as mixing all the ingredients to make the crumble in a bowl (it will look like the image below). Put it in the refrigerator while you prepare the apples.

Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown. Please note that each oven is different and cooking times may vary.

When you take it out of the oven, let it rest for 10 minutes (optional). Then serve it as is, or serve it with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream.

Enjoy it, Bismillah!
